Our History
The original station was situated in Logan street where the picture theatre is at present. The land was donated to the brigade by the Matamata County Council on 18 July 1947 when building of this station commenced.

A proud day for the Tokoroa Volunteer Fire Brigade was on the 2nd July 1959 as the new modern fire station was offically opened by Mr GF Sim MP. The function was attended by a number of local residents as well as by members of fire brigades in other districts. During the ceremony tributes were paid by the guest speaker to the wonderful work carried out by the brigade, under difficult conditions since its formation in 1947.

This is the station at the present time, It has just been done up with improvements about to happen on the inside shortly.
